Problem

The Camden Center for Law & Social Justice is a nonprofit legal aid organization serving survivors of domestic violence, immigrants, and families across Southern New Jersey. Many visitors arrive at the site during a stressful or urgent moment, so the organization needed a web presence that felt trustworthy and easy to navigate at a glance, not just informative.

Process

• Structured the site around the organization’s core service areas, ongoing news and community updates, and clear pathways for visitors to either give or get help, so both intent types are served from the homepage
• Designed a homepage that surfaces recent stories and highlights the center’s mission and impact, giving first-time visitors quick context for who the organization serves
• Paired a warm, human visual tone with a clear informational hierarchy in the WordPress build, aiming for a site that reads as approachable rather than institutional
• Took on ongoing content maintenance post-launch, keeping news posts, resources, and organizational information current as the center’s work evolves

Outcome

A live site that gives the Camden Center a clear, accessible home online for clients, donors, and community partners alike, and that continues to be updated as the organization’s programs change.
